About the role

This senior‑level position will lead the Human Talent function for a large Salvadoran company with multiple sites and simultaneous projects. Reporting directly to the Executive Management, you will design and implement culture, employer branding, recruitment, payroll, compliance and wellbeing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and embed organizational values, culture and climate; execute annual culture plan and measure employee climate twice a year.
• Maintain cohesion across more than ten operations, ensuring equity and inclusion.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment: needs analysis, job descriptions, competency interviews, testing, references, hiring and onboarding.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll for 40+ employees, including statutory benefits, severance, and manage relations with ISSS, AFP and INSAFORP.
• Administer digital time‑keeping system, generate attendance reports, analyze absenteeism and verify field presence.
• Ensure legal compliance with the Salvadoran Labor Code, migration permits, internal regulations and updated personnel policies.
• Design and monitor wellbeing programs, occupational health and safety committees, annual training plans and succession planning for near‑retirement positions.
• Provide monthly KPI reports to Executive Management and handle confidential information with utmost discretion.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Labor Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of generalist HR experience covering culture, recruitment and personnel administration.
• Proven experience managing payroll for 40+ staff, including benefits and liquidations.
• Practical knowledge of the Salvadoran Labor Code and processes with ISSS, AFP, INSAFORP and the Ministry of Labor.
• At least one documented culture or climate initiative with measurable results.
• Autonomous execution of full‑cycle selection using competency‑based interviews.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll and digital attendance systems.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
