Customer Services Representative (Call Center)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Services Representative to join our team at the Ria Money Transfer headquarters in El Salvador. In this position you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information about their transactions and resolving general inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist agents and end‑customers (senders or beneficiaries) via telephone and email to answer questions and handle complaints.
• Review and correct data of incorrectly processed transactions.
• Maintain constant communication with the correspondent (paying agent) in the destination country to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile and balance refunds of cancelled transactions.

Required profile

• Completed high school or college education.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or a call‑center environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Internet Explorer.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, teamwork attitude and ability to work flexible schedules.
