About the role

We are seeking a Development Facilitator to join our team working with vulnerable children and communities. The role supports the implementation of development actions that connect World Vision’s program team with local actors, focusing on child and adolescent participation and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor child and adolescent participation in development activities designed with the community.
• Facilitate communication between children and their sponsors.
• Coordinate with local groups and organizations to align with child welfare priorities.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate or university student in Humanities or Social Sciences (e.g., Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Education) or related fields.
• 2‑3 years of experience in community development work.
• Experience applying violence‑prevention techniques.
• Background working in insecure or high‑risk social contexts.
• Residency in the work area or nearby municipalities.

Required skills

• Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle.
