About the role
Sagan is seeking a Financial and Operations Analyst to support accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis for its US‑based clients. The role is fully remote, working Monday‑Friday on Eastern Time.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze actual results against budgets, explain variances, and recommend improvements to gross margin.
- Support month‑end close, weekly KPI reporting, and monthly/quarterly leadership reporting.
- Assist in budget preparation, pricing, cost modeling, and RFP analysis.
- Analyze operating costs, late fees, and overall financial performance to identify process improvements.
- Prepare financial and operational reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- At least two years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or a related financial analysis field.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with EPM tools (nice‑to‑have).
