Mortgage Virtual Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Virtual Assistant to provide direct, remote support to US‑based mortgage brokers and loan officers. The role focuses on end‑to‑end loan file management, borrower communication, and coordination with underwriting and closing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage loan files from submission through closing.
• Order, coordinate, and track appraisals.
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation.
• Follow up with borrowers on outstanding requirements.
• Review and help clear underwriting conditions.
• Communicate directly with underwriters, lenders, title companies, and other lending partners.
• Track loan progress and maintain accurate records.
• Update CRM/LOS systems with loan status and borrower information.
• Assist loan officers with lead follow‑up and cold calling when needed.
• Support basic marketing and social media activities, when applicable.
• Provide administrative and operational support to mortgage professionals.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive.
• Comfortable working with US mortgage professionals and handling multiple loan files simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with US mortgage loan processing.
• Experience clearing underwriting conditions and managing borrower documentation.
• Familiarity with mortgage terminology and closing procedures.
• Proficiency with mortgage CRM/LOS platforms such as Encompass, Calyx, Arive, and GoHighLevel.
