About the role
LICEO CASTILLA, a secondary school located in Colón, La Libertad, is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver Mathematics and Natural Sciences to its students. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and requires a professional who can engage secondary‑level learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
- Prepare lesson materials, assignments and examinations.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration.
Required profile
- Completed degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a related field.
- Official teaching rank (Escalafón docente) recognized by the education authority.
- Proven experience as a secondary‑school teacher.
- Strong ability to manage and motivate a classroom group.
- Availability to work full‑time, Monday through Friday.
