Technical Manager – Remote (Pre‑sales & Delivery)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Manager to act as the technical authority in pre‑sales engagements. You will translate client needs into concrete solution proposals, define team structures, and support the sales process with deep engineering expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and presales to convert leads into detailed solution documents and proposals.
• Meet prospects (virtually or on‑site) to showcase BairesDev’s delivery model and technical capabilities.
• Determine optimal technology stacks, team composition, and project estimates for each opportunity.
• Provide consultancy on best practices across software engineering, AI, data & analytics, cloud, DevOps, and quality assurance.
• Support the creation of proposals, cost estimates, and technical recommendations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) building software with teams.
• 3+ years of specialized expertise in a specific SDLC area, language, framework, or technology.
• Proven experience selling technology outsourcing or working in pre‑sales environments.
• Subject‑matter expertise in at least one vertical (e.g., cloud, AI, data analytics, quality).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
