AI Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js & Python) – Remote

About the role

In this role you will own the frontend surface of a streaming chat application that is expanding into analytics views for a sales‑revenue workstream. Working within an established design system you will build reusable components and hooks, prototype generative UI alongside Design, and extend Python services when frontend features require backend changes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the frontend surface of a streaming chat and analytics application.
• Build reusable components and hooks within an established design system.
• Prototype alongside Design on generative UI concepts.
• Extend Python services when frontend features require backend changes.
• Raise experience issues proactively, ensuring pixel‑perfect accuracy and accessibility.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with React and Next.js in TypeScript (8+ years for lead‑level scope).
• 2+ years building AI/LLM‑driven applications.
• 2+ years of Python experience (or 4+ years backend experience for lead‑level scope).
• High attention to UI detail, pixel accuracy, and proactive polish.
• Experience with AWS.
• Availability to work PST hours.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Experience with LLM evaluation tools such as LangSmith, Langfuse, LLM‑as‑judge, or golden datasets.
• Experience with streaming chat interfaces, token streaming, and WebSockets.
• Experience with analytics and charting UI using D3, Recharts, Visx, or similar.
• Experience working inside an established design system such as Material or Carbon.
• Strong accessibility (a11y) and responsive web‑app practices.
• Familiarity with generative UI and model‑driven components.
