Compliance Officer (Remote, Part-time)

About the role

We are an international legal consultancy seeking a part‑time Compliance Officer based in El Salvador to support our cryptocurrency and fintech clients. The role is fully remote and flexible, allowing you to work alongside global teams while generating additional income.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC/KYB and CDD/EDD procedures for clients and partners.
• Monitor transactions and perform sanctions screening.
• Prepare and submit SAR/STR reports in accordance with AML regulations.
• Provide local compliance guidance to crypto exchanges and digital‑asset service providers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory developments in the crypto and fintech sectors.

Required profile

• Residency in El Salvador.
• Fluent Spanish; professional English is a strong plus.
• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in AML/Compliance (e.g., AML Officer, MLRO, Compliance Analyst).
• Proven experience with KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions verification and SAR/STR reporting.
