About the role

The Regional Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and managing product categories in line with the company’s strategic objectives. This role ensures product availability, competitiveness and profitability across the market, supporting the group’s growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and risks for product selection.
• Negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers, including price, credit, delivery and marketing support.
• Develop joint commercial strategies with local teams to boost sales and strengthen market presence.
• Monitor category performance—sales, margin, inventory—and make timely decisions to maximize results.
• Verify compliance with agreed conditions, timelines and pricing to protect the company’s financial interests.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in category purchasing (cat‑man) or similar roles.
• Proven ability to manage indicators such as sales, margin, turnover and inventory.

Required skills

• Project management tools (Microsoft Project).
• Statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Data‑visualisation applications (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
