About the role

The Data Protection Officer will ensure that ACACYC PNC DE R.L. complies with all applicable data protection regulations. Working on-site in San Salvador, you will advise internal teams on privacy matters, update policies, and handle data‑related inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with national and international data protection laws.
• Review, draft, and update privacy policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to business units on the lawful processing of personal data.
• Conduct data‑impact assessments when required.
• Manage privacy‑related queries and complaints from individuals.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
• Deliver training sessions on data protection best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and policy development.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, especially within privacy frameworks.
• Legal education or related field with ability to interpret data protection legislation.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and risk‑mitigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey legal and technical concepts clearly.
• Team‑oriented with project management capabilities.
