About the role

The Corporate Procurement Manager will define, implement and lead the acquisition strategy for indirect goods and services across Grupo Unicomer’s 20 markets. The role ensures operational continuity, drives efficiencies and aligns purchases with the company’s strategic plan while complying with corporate policies and regional guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design the acquisition model for non‑trade goods and services, establishing purchase policies, supplier governance and spend reporting standards.
• Set optimization and risk‑management targets for key indirect categories and integrate them into business planning and budgeting.
• Lead a multicultural, multi‑regional team to negotiate critical indirect categories, maximizing leverage and meeting financial and compliance objectives.
• Coordinate governance forums, standardize procurement processes and develop capabilities across countries to ensure long‑term sustainable value.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and budget owners to embed procurement needs into the strategic business plan and reduce total spend.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or specialization in International Business is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in similar procurement leadership roles.
• Proven track record leading remote, multi‑country, multicultural procurement teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience negotiating with hardware and software suppliers (preferred).
• Understanding of legal regulations and compliance requirements related to purchasing.
