Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the full employee lifecycle for a surf‑focused hotel, academy and restaurant in El Salvador. Reporting to General Management, this full‑time position blends on‑site presence with remote work to support recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations in a dynamic hospitality and sports environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection for all positions across the hotel, academy and restaurant.
• Oversee onboarding, contract preparation, and enrollment in ISSS and AFP.
• Review and approve payroll in coordination with Administration and General Management.
• Maintain employee files, ensure compliance with internal regulations and MTPS requirements.
• Handle terminations, liquidations and performance evaluations.
• Design and deliver the annual training and development plan by position.
• Promote a positive work culture and service standards together with area managers.
• Address staff requests and concerns, and provide monthly reports to General Management.

Required profile

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Minimum three years of experience in human resources.
• Strong knowledge of Código de Trabajo, ISSS, AFP and MTPS procedures.
• Proven experience designing and running training and development programs.
• Background in hotels, restaurants or similar seven‑day operations.
• Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Own transport.
