Leasing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Coordinator to oversee the full leasing cycle for residential properties, from the first inquiry to move‑in. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, communicates clearly, and can turn leads into qualified tenants while supporting occupancy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and leasing platforms.
• Qualify prospects against property requirements, rental criteria, and availability.
• Schedule and conduct property showings, virtual tours, and follow‑ups.
• Maintain leasing leads in the CRM, ensuring accurate interaction records.
• Process rental applications, coordinate screening, verification, and documentation.
• Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and move‑in paperwork; coordinate deposits, utilities, keys, and onboarding.
• Monitor unit listings for correct pricing, photos, descriptions, and availability.
• Support lease renewals and identify opportunities to reduce vacancy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, fair‑housing, and local rental regulations.
• Provide regular reports on leads, conversions, occupancy, and leasing performance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or related real‑estate roles.
• Strong understanding of the residential leasing process and relevant KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven sales, negotiation, and customer‑service abilities.
• Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or leasing/property‑management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Yardi, Rent Manager).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
