Product Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

Applaudo Studios, an AI-native digital solutions delivery company, is hiring a Product Manager in a hybrid setting in San Salvador. The role turns complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements, works closely with developers and technical teams, and uses AI tools to research, analyze and document product work.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows and requirements, then translate them into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation.
• Evaluate requirements and priorities by business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, scope and delivery.
• Identify missing information, ambiguous requirements, conflicting expectations, business rules and edge cases before development starts.
• Maintain accurate, traceable product documentation, including PRDs, BRDs, user stories and scope changes.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams, assess change requests and document agreed decisions.
• Support roadmap planning, prioritization and UAT, validating scenarios and defects and clarifying scope.
• Use AI tools to improve research, analysis, user story development and documentation, and follow up on open questions and dependencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level product management or product ownership experience, preferably 5+ years.
• Proven experience making product decisions, managing priorities and scope, and gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience managing roadmaps, prioritizing requirements and supporting delivery through development and UAT.
• Stakeholder management, negotiation of scope changes and direct collaboration with developers and QA engineers.
• B2+ English proficiency.
• Nice to have: software factory or nearshore experience, business planning tools, design tools like Figma, and experience with AI-enabled features.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of software development processes and technical concepts; programming not required.
• Product documentation: PRDs, BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini.
• Product management, ticketing and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or Wiki.
