Senior Accounting Manager

About the role

MAVI is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for a high‑growth US company. This hands‑on leadership role ensures the accuracy and integrity of regional books, manages the close process, and coordinates with local accounting, tax, payroll, and external advisory partners across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close for US entities and regional subsidiaries.
• Own the regional general ledger, preparing financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
• Manage balance‑sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, foreign‑currency remeasurement and multi‑entity consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting requirements, statutory filings and company policies.
• Coordinate external audits, statutory audits, tax reviews and other financial reviews.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, close checklists and internal controls.
• Identify and resolve accounting and operational issues, driving process improvements and automation.
• Support ERP implementations, entity setup, chart‑of‑accounts design and system enhancements.
• Partner with FP&A and US finance leadership to align regional reporting with US GAAP.

Required profile

• Strong accounting fundamentals with experience across international entities.
• Proven ability to manage regional accounting operations while maintaining consistent standards.
• Experience coordinating with external advisors, auditors and tax consultants.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• ERP implementation and administration experience.
