Accountant

About the role

Crowley is seeking a professional accountant to perform GAAP‑based accounting duties and support financial analysis across its logistics and shipping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statistical, cost and financial analysis of reports and data, preparing summaries for management.
• Recommend cost‑improvement measures and perform cost/benefit analysis for projects and programs.
• Develop financial reports to identify forecasts, trends and results.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and help enhance accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• CPA license preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting systems such as Lawson.
