About the role

The Online Monitoring Analyst will support the Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Management team by evaluating and analysing AML/CTF risk for the family remittance product and high‑denomination cash deposits. The role ensures compliance with national AML laws, FATF recommendations and regulatory standards, protecting the bank from legal, reputational and operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Execute continuous risk assessment of AML/CTF by monitoring alerts generated from user and client control‑list matches.
• Analyze alerts related to family remittances and high‑denomination cash deposits to identify unusual patterns.
• Monitor cases derived from data‑mining models and determine if they require suspicious activity reporting.
• Discard matches against total‑block lists at the time of payment or remittance to mitigate prohibited transactions.
• Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the regulator.
• Coordinate with business units to update client files during investigations and to clear non‑suspicious alerts.
• Document all actions and case traceability in the SIAPLAFT system.
• Support client termination processes to prevent reputational risk.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AML, CTF regulations and FATF recommendations.
• Experience in risk‑based monitoring and reporting within a banking environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
