Application Developer

About the role

Conduct technical feasibility assessments, develop and implement components and programs for new and existing company applications, ensuring they effectively support business operations and contribute to operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop requirements and design specifications in collaboration with the Software Architect.
• Provide reliable effort estimates and meet agreed timelines for assigned tasks.
• Prepare unit tests and support the Quality Control team in validating compliance with business requirements.
• Design and implement components, interfaces, and services for new applications and enhancements.
• Participate actively in Scrum teams, offering technical expertise, effort estimates, and feedback on development practices.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and support the QA process during testing activities.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of software development experience using .NET frameworks.
• Minimum three years of experience with ANSI SQL and knowledge of PL/SQL or Transact‑SQL.
• Experience developing service‑oriented architectures and systems analysis/design.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.

• .NET frameworks (including MVC, Blazor, DevExpress)
• SQL databases: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL
• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular, Bootstrap
• Server platforms: IIS, Apache, Apache Tomcat
• Programming concepts: object‑oriented programming, service‑oriented architecture, Scrum methodology
• Additional languages (desirable): PHP, Java, RPG
• Tools and standards: UML, design patterns, Windows operating systems
