AR/AP Global Agent Specialist – Accounting

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking an AR/AP Global Agent Specialist to join its Finance Operations team. In this role you will post a variety of financial transactions to the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and prepare management reports while supporting occasional special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Post financial transactions to the general ledger accurately.
• Reconcile bank reports and ensure supporting documentation is obtained.
• Assist in automating closing and reconciliation processes.
• Cross‑train on other accounting duties and provide backup for team functions.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or at least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Understanding of general ledger concepts; banking knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time‑management, detail‑orientation, and ability to interact with all employee levels.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (90% proficiency or higher).
• Microsoft Word.
• Experience using a general‑ledger accounting system.
