Associate Country Manager

About the role

The Associate Country Manager will lead the commercial strategy and business objectives for a leading company with a strong regional presence. Based in San Salvador, the role combines sales leadership, market insight, and team development to drive growth in the institutional pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the country sales plan and ensure business profitability.
• Define institutional relationship objectives, set strategic action lines, and guide negotiations while supporting the sales team.
• Lead bidding processes for institutional contracts and client offers.
• Maintain key product availability, supply, and turnover for institutional customers.
• Monitor performance indicators, staff productivity, and overall team results.
• Participate in the full employee lifecycle, fostering cultural fit and retention.
• Coordinate demand planning together with the logistics department.

Required profile

• Degree in administration, commerce, or related fields with complementary studies in marketing and sales.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the institutional pharmaceutical market and sector trends.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective, creative sales strategies.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Result‑oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
• Conversational level of English.
