B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest is seeking a B2B Marketing & Business Communications professional to support its Business Planning team. The consultant will help position the institution’s transactions, events, and award‑worthy achievements across strategic industries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Support marketing and business communications activities that showcase IDB Invest’s transactions, events, and recognitions.
• Produce tailored messaging for deals, highlighting financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an updated inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes and build a knowledge base.
• Coordinate business events, handling agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors, stakeholder engagement and post‑event reporting.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder contact records and update event‑related information before and after each event.
• Assist content initiatives and campaigns that reinforce IDB Invest’s positioning in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, including business positioning, events, content creation and campaigns.
• Proven track record coordinating diverse stakeholders in large complex organisations such as multilaterals or development banks.
• Excellent writing skills in English and Spanish.
• Legal right to work in the country of residence and no family members employed at IDB, IDB Invest or IDB Lab.
