Business Analyst

About the role

Gildan is seeking a Business Analyst to lead product backlog definition, support sprint delivery, and act as the primary contact for users during system‑related initiatives. The role combines business analysis, Scrum coordination, and functional support for software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with the Product Owner and users.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, monitor sprint progress through burndown charts, and report performance indicators.
• Analyze business requirements, document application specifications, and assess feasibility of initiatives.
• Support user acceptance testing, manage software change implementation, and track incidents.
• Evaluate vendor and product alternatives, integrate vendor resources, and ensure contractual compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field; Master’s in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum two years experience as Business Consultant, Systems Analyst, Scrum Master or similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understanding of process management, application development, infrastructure, quality and project management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Diagrams.net and Bizagi.
• Working knowledge of UML, design patterns and software development patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and project management fundamentals.
