Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support informed decision‑making. The role combines analytical, logical and technical work, helping the BI team solve business problems, deliver reliable reporting and improve data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards that support operational and strategic decisions.
• Extract, clean, structure, validate and prepare data for analysis, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Support business problem analysis by developing hypotheses, validating assumptions and presenting data‑driven insights.
• Map and document business processes related to data generation and usage, identifying opportunities to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Respond to ad‑hoc reporting and analytical requests from multiple business areas.
• Document data sources, calculation logic and analytical processes for transparency and traceability.
• Identify manual or repetitive reporting tasks and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the BI team on projects to improve data infrastructure, governance and overall data quality.

Required profile

• Strong logical, mathematical and computational reasoning with the ability to break down complex problems.
• Experience communicating analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Attention to data quality, with experience cleaning, structuring and validating datasets.
• Interest in technical data engineering and automation.

Required skills

• SQL – writing queries with filters, aggregations and joins.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI (or similar BI tool) for building reports and dashboards.
• Python for data analytics, including object‑oriented code.
• Understanding of descriptive statistics and data preparation techniques.
