Business Intelligence Intern

About the role

Tigo El Salvador is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to support its Business Performance and Sales Intelligence area. The intern analyzes commercial information and business results to generate insights that help decision-making. The project lasts 6 months and is based in El Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze commercial information to identify trends, deviations and improvement opportunities in business performance.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and results across segments and channels.
• Investigate the main factors and trends behind business results.
• Support the creation and automation of reports and dashboards for commercial performance.
• Generate insights and recommendations from data analysis to support decisions.
• Help prepare estimates, projections and commercial performance analyses.
• Work with different areas to collect, validate and analyze business information.
• Follow initiatives and projects focused on growth, efficiency and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Student in their fifth year or graduate in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
• Interest in commercial information analysis, insight generation and business performance tracking.
• Ability to analyze information and identify trends, with analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work with different areas of the organization.
• Proactive, curious, initiative-driven and eager to learn.
