Cloud Architect (GCP)

About the role

Applaudo Studios is seeking a Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to guide the design of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting both clients and internal engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, governance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write and maintain Terraform configurations to manage GCP infrastructure as code.
• Design and maintain infrastructure, network, and service diagrams across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing with a strong focus on GCP architecture.
• Proven experience acting as a technical advisor and validating cloud solutions against best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency.
