About the role

Alena is looking for a responsible and organized cook to join its kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing and assembling meals, especially breakfasts and brunches, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of foods for service.
• Perform mise en place and ingredient preparation.
• Produce breakfast and brunch dishes according to menu specifications.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy, and well‑organized.
• Wash and disinfect utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
• Assist with receiving and storing food products.
• Follow all hygiene and food‑handling regulations.

Required profile

• Previous kitchen experience, preferably in restaurants, cafés or similar food establishments.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation.
• Eager to learn and improve culinary skills.
• Responsible, punctual and organized.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Saturday until midday.
• Ability to travel to the Colonia Escalón area.
