Construction Estimator – Framing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator specialized in framing to join our pre‑construction team. You will translate architectural and structural blueprints into accurate material take‑offs and competitive cost estimates for both steel and wood framing packages.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze architectural and structural drawings to produce precise material take‑offs.
• Prepare cost estimates and strategic bids for light‑gauge/structural steel and wood framing.
• Draft and layout drawings from supplied plans and sketches.
• Perform component‑based material calculations and budgeting for all construction details.
• Manage daily workflow of the estimating department, prioritizing and assigning projects.
• Calculate project time and budget estimates based on required materials and resources.
• Ensure completed estimates meet customer and project requirements.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (upper‑intermediate to proficient).
• Strong engineering or architectural background.
• Minimum 2 years of construction estimating experience, specifically with wood and steel framing systems.
• Ability to draft, layout, and perform straightforward calculations.
• Professional attitude, strong written and verbal communication, and high attention to detail.
