Contador General – Fintech

About the role

DitoBanx EL SALVADOR is seeking a General Accountant to lead the full accounting cycle within a fast‑growing fintech environment. You will ensure accurate, timely recording of all financial transactions and provide high‑quality accounting and tax information in compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare financial statements and tax reports according to NIIF, Salvadoran tax law, and commercial code.
• Manage payroll processing, social security portal interactions (ISSS, AFP), and labor law compliance.
• Maintain anti‑money‑laundering (PLD/FT) controls and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems, preferably Odoo, for accurate financial data management.

Required profile

• Active Certified Accountant license (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant, Sub‑accountant, or similar role, preferably in finance or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of NIIF, Salvadoran tax code, commercial code, labor legislation, and AML regulations.

Required skills

• Advanced use of ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Expertise in NIIF accounting standards.
• Payroll calculation and management.
• Handling of social security portals (ISSS, AFP).
