Especialista en Gestión de Calidad (ISO/IEC 17025)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Management Specialist to oversee the laboratory’s quality system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. The role ensures the credibility of accredited test reports and supports continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain the quality management processes required by ISO/IEC 17025.
• Monitor compliance with quality procedures and ensure the system remains effective.
• Prepare internal documentation, update procedures and drive improvements.
• Report on quality system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support laboratory management in communicating quality policy and principles.
• Verify that all staff understand and correctly apply quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably a Master’s degree in Food Safety or Quality Management.
• Experience as a microbiology technician or in similar quality roles.
• Additional training in quality management is desirable.
