Especialista Senior de Compras Regionales

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Regional Procurement Specialist to manage the acquisition of goods and services for our operations in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The role ensures efficient negotiation, quality compliance, timely delivery and cost‑effectiveness while adhering to local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Request quotations, negotiate prices and delivery terms for HR, IT, administration, marketing and finance needs.
• Lead RFI, RFQ and RFP processes for local and regional projects.
• Create and maintain product and service catalogs.
• Generate purchase orders using the Nimbi ERP system.
• Coordinate material receipt and internal requests with relevant departments.
• Develop commercial strategies to acquire goods and services.
• Monitor order status, manage deviations in delivery times or quality, and ensure continuous availability of required items.
• Maintain positive supplier relationships, facilitate communication and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure correct invoicing and payments.
• Evaluate cost‑quality balance of purchases and drive cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and local legal requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on spend, savings, negotiations and supplier performance.
• Act as primary contact between Procurement and user departments across the four countries.
• Participate in regional transformation and continuous‑improvement projects related to Procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in corporate procurement, preferably in a multi‑country environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Nimbi ERP system.
• Experience managing RFI/RFQ/RFP processes.
