About the role

SPC Internacional is looking for a Post‑Sales Engineer specialized in technological infrastructure to provide high‑quality technical support to its customers in El Salvador. The professional will work on‑site and travel to client sites to ensure reliable network and security services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support to customers.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, network and security incidents.
• Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, servers and related infrastructure.
• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD‑WAN, VPN and dedicated link networks.
• Perform switching and routing configurations.
• Monitor network performance, availability and security.
• Analyze and resolve incidents at L1, L2 and L3 layers.
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation and activity logs.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and internal teams to achieve timely case resolution.
• Ensure post‑sale service quality and compliance with agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Technical or university degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
• Proven experience in technical support, networking or post‑sale services.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies, VLAN, STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, MPLS, SD‑WAN and VPN.
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, Juniper, Huawei or similar solutions.
• Ability to use diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix, Nmap or SNMP.
• Understanding of perimeter security, IDS/IPS and cyber‑incident handling.
• Preferably holds CCNA or related networking/cybersecurity certifications.
• Customer‑oriented, analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Immediate availability and willingness to work on‑site and travel to client locations.
