Ingeniero Eléctrico Junior – Planta Fotovoltaica

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a large renewable‑energy project located in El Rosario, La Paz. The role focuses on operation and maintenance of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and photovoltaic solar plants, including their interconnection with electrical substations.

Key responsibilities

• Support, execute and coordinate O&M activities for BESS, solar parks and related substation interfaces.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on inverters, batteries and control equipment.
• Carry out low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical inspections, tests and measurements.
• Monitor plant performance through SCADA systems and report incidents.
• Coordinate daily on‑site tasks with technical staff and external suppliers.
• Assist in electrical switching operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare simple technical reports and service logs.
• Participate in field work, including work at height.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic solar generation.
• Ability to perform electrical measurements and diagnostics.
• Willingness to work on‑site and perform work at height.
• Valid driver’s license.
