IT Specialist – Remote Weekend Shift

About the role

The Language Doctors, Inc. seeks a proactive IT Specialist to provide remote technical support for its global team during weekend hours. This fully remote position is ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, maintaining cloud‑based systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical assistance to employees worldwide.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems, networks, and cloud applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Administer workstations using TCP/IP protocols.
• Manage system security, backups, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Monitor and optimise network and system performance.
• Document IT procedures and support tickets.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in IT systems and network support (entry‑level candidates with strong skills are welcome).
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Experience with remote IT tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
