Manager, Business Systems

About the role

Crowley is seeking a Manager, Business Systems to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of its enterprise business applications. The role works in a hybrid setting, partnering with business units and corporate services to align technology solutions with overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain business systems that support corporate strategies, including HCM and ERP platforms.
• Document detailed user needs, program requirements, and functional steps for system enhancements.
• Collaborate with business units, programmers, and the enterprise support center to prioritize projects, define requirements, and communicate status.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions to meet regulatory, customer, and internal compliance requirements.
• Provide ad‑hoc queries and reports to business customers as requested.
• Ensure data integrity across all business systems.
• Lead a team of system analysts, overseeing quality assurance and efficiency targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of IT experience focused on system development, process improvement, or automation.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Ability to work bilingually in English and Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Oracle Fusion HCM and Oracle ERP.
• Experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Advanced report writing and data‑gathering capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft, Oracle, and SQL technologies or certifications.
