About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Virtual Assistant to support our patients and clinical staff remotely. This position involves handling calls, managing patient information, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist patients with inquiries.
• Verify insurance details and update patient records.
• Manage referrals, faxes, and medical records.
• Explain insurance benefits to patients.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Perform administrative and data‑entry tasks.
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all activities.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Medical receptionist or virtual assistant experience preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable computer and high‑speed internet connection.
• Willingness to use Time Doctor and a HIPAA‑compliant virtual desktop.
