Operador de Data Center – Turno Rotativo 24/7 (Presencial)

About the role

The Data Center Operator will support the daily operation of a 24/7 facility in El Salvador. The role involves monitoring infrastructure, performing remote‑hands tasks, providing on‑site support, and escalating incidents according to established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the Data Center infrastructure, conduct rounds, and identify alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Execute remote‑hands activities and on‑site support for installations, changes, physical validations, and assistance to technicians, clients, and vendors.
• Document operational activities, track requests and incidents, and report conditions that could affect service availability.
• Perform and validate operational controls, identify risks or deviations, and ensure continuity of operations.

Required profile

• 6 months to 3 years of experience in IT support, monitoring, or operations, preferably in a Data Center, NOC, or technical support environment.
• Technical education: Mid‑level technician in Electronics or related field, or university studies (3rd/4th year) in Electronics, Systems, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of Data Center components: servers, networking, storage, power, backups, cooling, and monitoring.
• Experience with incident and change handling; ITIL and information security knowledge are a plus.
• Technical English proficiency.
• Assertive communication, teamwork, detail orientation, and proactive attitude.
• Own transportation with a valid driver’s license.
• Availability for rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and maintenance windows.
