Senior Bookkeeping & Accounting Specialist (QuickBooks)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with deep expertise in QuickBooks Online and a solid background in construction accounting. The role focuses on client onboarding, chart‑of‑accounts cleanup, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and complex transaction troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clean up QuickBooks Online accounts during client onboarding, ensuring proper classifications.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate asset, liability, and loan records.
• Diagnose and correct complex or incomplete transactions, and generate customized financial and vendor expense reports.
• Support system integrations between QuickBooks Online and external platforms such as Zoho and JobTread.
• Communicate professionally with clients to clarify financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, including company setup and chart‑of‑accounts cleanup.
• Strong experience in balance‑sheet reconciliations, asset/liability setup, and complex transaction troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, especially when working with incomplete data.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
