Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance across several web and mobile products. The role blends manual and automated testing while working closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and clients to deliver high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and execute test plans and cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and end‑to‑end testing on web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated UI, API and end‑to‑end test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
• Validate backend functionality with SQL queries and database checks.
• Test REST APIs and webhook integrations for reliability.
• Log, prioritize and track defects in Jira, Linear or comparable tools.
• Collaborate during discovery, refinement and sprint planning to surface edge cases.
• Improve QA processes, release checklists, testing standards and overall coverage.
• Participate in release readiness reviews and communicate quality risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software quality assurance or test engineering experience.
• Strong manual testing skills based on detailed functional requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Proficient SQL skills for backend validation.
• Experience testing REST APIs and webhook‑based integrations.
• Familiarity with Jira, Linear or similar issue‑tracking tools.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
