Senior Shopify / Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Shopify / Frontend Engineer to join a fast‑paced development team building modern commerce experiences. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise with Shopify beyond theme development, especially in checkout customization, commerce logic, and API integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain e‑commerce experiences using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and GraphQL.
• Develop Shopify functionality for carts, discounts, memberships, and digital goods.
• Implement and maintain Shopify Checkout UI Extensions and Shopify Functions.
• Integrate Shopify services via the Admin API, webhooks, and Shopify CLI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable commerce features.
• Quickly become productive with Astro, including SSR and islands architecture.

Required profile

• Proven ability to ramp up quickly, take ownership of features, and thrive in a modern Shopify development environment.
• Strong background in commerce workflows such as cart, checkout, discounts, subscriptions, and digital products.
