Senior Staff Lawyer – Personal Injury

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Lawyer to join our Personal Injury team remotely. This senior‑level position requires independent case ownership, extensive pre‑litigation and litigation experience, and the ability to support attorneys across the full case lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Personal Injury matters, handling pre‑litigation and litigation stages with attorney supervision.
• Maintain client communication, coordinate medical treatment, and ensure accurate case documentation in our case management system.
• Set up and follow up on insurance claims, draft Letters of Representation, and obtain necessary accident documentation.
• Order and track medical records, bills, and liens; assist with demand packages and settlement preparation.
• Support litigation tasks such as drafting complaints, discovery responses, filing motions, calendaring deadlines, and preparing for depositions and trial.
• Provide direct support to attorneys, manage competing deadlines, and uphold strong documentation standards.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent legal education.
• 3+ years of hands‑on U.S. Personal Injury experience, including pre‑litigation work; litigation experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a significant caseload and communicate directly with clients.
• Independent work style with strong attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with Filevine or comparable legal case management software.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
