Software Developer Intern

About the role

RSM is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join its Application Development practice. You will work on client engagements across various industries, helping to design, test, and implement data integrations and ERP/CRM customizations while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document specifications for data integrations.
• Coordinate with client lead users and engineering teams to test and implement new or modified programs.
• Document requirements and assist in ERP/CRM development, creating customizations as needed.
• Develop and apply proper coding techniques on existing and new systems.
• Maintain data integrity procedures and support troubleshooting and data cleanup.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred).
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and access reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Database design experience.
• Experience with SSRS, MOSS/SharePoint Services, and Microsoft CRM SDK.
• Programming languages: VB.net, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data integration tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM customization.
