Spanish Medical & Legal Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

INTELEX is seeking a fluent Spanish‑English interpreter to provide medical and legal interpretation services remotely. You will enable clear communication between patients, healthcare providers, and legal professionals, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate exchanges.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for medical and legal contexts.
• Use precise medical and legal terminology during sessions.
• Facilitate OPI (over‑the‑phone) and VRI (video remote interpreting) appointments as scheduled.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 months professional interpretation experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in medical or legal sectors.
• High listening, note‑taking, and memory retention abilities.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including 24/7 coverage.

Required skills

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
• Experience with OPI and VRI platforms.
