IT Business Analyst – Distribution

About the role

The IT Business Analyst – Distribution will support Gildan’s warehouse and distribution operations from the El Salvador office, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to design, test, and maintain Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from distribution stakeholders to propose effective WMS solutions.
• Assist users in understanding and utilizing the Warehouse Management System and JD Edwards applications.
• Design and document WMS solutions, focusing on usability and process optimization.
• Conduct thorough system testing to ensure functionality, accuracy, and efficiency before deployment.
• Develop training materials and deliver training on new functionalities.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and updates for the Warehouse Management System.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders on larger‑scale projects and initiatives.
• Participate in production support for all distribution centers, including on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in a distribution environment with inventory control/management.
• 2–5 years of experience with a Warehouse Management System, preferably Manhattan.
• 2–5 years of experience with JD Edwards distribution modules (or other ERP systems).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
