Remote Patient Service Representative – Healthcare Call Center

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Patient Service Representative to join our remote scheduling team. In this full‑time position you will handle inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients in booking appointments with optometrists and ophthalmologists while delivering a friendly, compliant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries via phone, web forms and online messaging.
• Guide prospective patients through the enrollment process, explaining insurance options and required paperwork.
• Schedule appointments, select providers and clinic locations, and record all interactions in the practice‑management/CRM system.
• Meet performance targets for call volume, conversion rates and service quality.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and other compliance standards.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a high‑volume call‑center environment, preferably in medical or vision care.
• Strong attention to detail, process‑driven and able to multitask across several tools.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office for back‑to‑back calls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with enterprise‑level CRM or practice‑management software.
