About the role

The Telemarketing Agent will work for Banco Cuscatlán in San Salvador, focusing on contacting both prospective and existing customers to promote the bank's financial products and services. The role involves outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, identifying sales opportunities, and following up until the transaction is closed.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls following approved scripts and internal policies.
• Answer inbound customer queries and provide clear information about banking products.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities, and track them in the bank’s systems.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and update client information.
• Achieve defined sales targets and service quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to improve campaign performance.

Required profile

• Desirable experience in extrafinancing placement or similar financial sales.
• Strong commercial orientation with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening, empathy, and ability to handle objections over the phone.
• Organised approach to managing client information and systematic follow‑up.
• Team player, proactive attitude, high sense of responsibility, and availability for full‑time onsite work.
