Coordinador/a de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional – Chalatenango

About the role

The company is seeking a Coordinator of Safety and Occupational Health (SSO) to ensure that all civil engineering and electromechanical works on the Chalatenango project comply with national safety standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards on all project sites.
• Monitor and enforce ISO 45001 requirements and national safety legislation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate occupational risks throughout the construction process.
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to safety performance.

Required profile

• Technical or Industrial Engineering degree.
• At least 6 months experience as an SSO Coordinator.
• Knowledge of national safety legislation, ISO 45001, and risk identification.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD and Visio.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within the country.
