Data Architect

About the role

You will join Applaudo Studios to shape and evolve enterprise data ecosystems that power analytics, AI, and operational systems. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver scalable, secure data architectures aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business strategy.
• Design and evolve data ecosystems, develop Star and Snowflake schemas, and maintain architecture standards.
• Lead data governance and metadata management practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend data platforms and technologies based on performance and business needs.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Platform Design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Spark and dbt.
• Expertise in Snowflake and BigQuery cloud data platforms.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud services.
• Strong data modeling skills, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
