Data & Reporting Support Analyst Internship

About the role

AMP is seeking a detail‑oriented Data & Reporting Support Analyst Intern to assist the analytics team with daily data processing, reporting preparation, and routine business intelligence requests in the aviation MRO industry.

Key responsibilities

• Download daily reports from internal and external systems for BI ingestion.
• Clean, standardize, and validate incoming data, including formats, naming conventions, condition codes, and units of measurement.
• Consolidate and format datasets for upload into BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support routine requests from other departments, such as Excel formatting, data preparation, and ad‑hoc extracts.
• Maintain consistent file structures, naming conventions, and organization across recurring reports.
• Identify and flag data quality issues and discrepancies to the analytics team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in structured datasets.
• Proactive attitude, able to work independently and manage recurring tasks with minimal supervision.
• Advanced English proficiency (85% or above).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning).
• Working knowledge of business intelligence concepts and tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
