About the role

The Regional Collections and Recoveries Strategy Manager will define and execute the regional strategy for credit collection and debt recovery across the retail portfolio. The role ensures that collection practices align with the organization’s risk appetite and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead regional collections and recovery strategies for the retail portfolio.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as roll rates, cure rates, contact rates and net recovery to identify improvement opportunities.
• Continuously optimize collection processes, including contact strategies, external agency management, and judicial/extrajudicial recovery.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Management to mitigate portfolio deterioration and reduce delinquency levels.
• Promote adoption of regional best practices and management standards across multiple countries.
• Prepare and present executive reports translating operational performance into financial impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in retail collections management.
• Strong background in recovery strategies and advanced collection metrics.
• Experience working in regional or multi‑country environments.
• High analytical ability, strategic vision and influence over multidisciplinary teams.
• Result‑oriented, adaptable and focused on customer experience.
